"SHAWL Group enjoy their Summer Break Outings"

SHAWL organised a range of outing opportunities for their service users during the summer Break ,these included a trip to the Botanic Gardens and a trip to  the town of Kirkcudbright, this provided opportunities for both the Holistic and Art Group members to socialise and have a fun day together .

This month Shawl have delivered a taster session on Indian Head Massage and are looking to develop new Volunteers to uptake Indian Head Massage training to support facilitation of their groups Services in the community

Cherish Group

The Cherish Group are a newly formed, mutual support group in Wigtownshire for Carers. The Aim of the group is to provide a social setting for fellow Carers to meet up to provide information and awareness, skills training opportunities and a warm environment to enjoy some recreational activities .

The Group are holding an Open Day Event on Friday 6th September at the Aberlour Centre, Stranraer 2pm - 4pm and welcome along any Carers who may be interested in finding out about their group and to discuss opportunities to support one another
