A new group has been started in Glenluce with consists of Boccia and New Age Curling each Thursday from 10.30 until 12noon.

All of our groups and initiatives will be stopping for the Christmas break, resuming in January.

SHAWL – ART

The Group are presently been supported by James Galloway (Access Art) who has delivered a taster workshop on 17/09/2013 to assess the groups interests, knowledge and experience.  The group will be structured around a series of expressive and observational exercises with the aim of developing the Artists’ own self confidence and understanding of their work

Aberlour Management are presently redeveloping their premises and have offered the Arts Group to display their work in a theme of portraying Stranraer in a positive way and their artistic impression of the immediate environment and will form part of an exhibition area at Aberlour. 

BHC Action Planning Day

BHC Area Partnership have requested that west Wigtownshire Tambourelli offer adult groups some taster sessions in this years Action plan and to look at intergenerational activity.  The group are also looking next summer to take its young coaches outside the region promoting this alternative sport to schools as part of the last week of school prior to the summer holiday, their Aims

Develop community spirit
Promote the uptake of Tambourelli in schools and communities

West Wigtownshire Tambourelli Committee

Recent Meeting 17^th October 2013 

Have elected three new young coaches into the committee that will represent as advocates for young people in the Tambourelli group. 

Tambourelli

The group continue to meet at the Ryan Centre during School Term 6.45 - 8.30 pm providing fun physical health activities for young people aged 10-18 yrs of age.
