Building Healthy Communities Volunteer Michelle Graham recently arranged and managed a sponsored walk with dogs to raise funds for the Scottish SPCA.
The walk took place recently at Torrs Warren Wood and was attended by MSP Emma Harper. £930 was raised for the Scottish SPCA.
Macmillan Cancer Support - Move More and Building Healthy Communities Walk Leaders supervised the walk.
Janet Proudlock, SSPCA Inspector for Dumfries and Galloway received the cheque and thanked Michelle and all involved for their fantastic effort in raising this money which will help in her work of preventing cruelty to animals.
