D&G Through the Lens - Raise funds for D&G Blood Bikes

Dumfries and Galloway through the lens are a photography enthusiast , who promote the region through their Social media forum on Face Book , with an aim to promote the beauty of the landscape of D&G and promote the Art of photography and their experience with those in the group


The group have just promoted their first book, with images provided by their artists, from across Dumfries and Galloway, Funds raised from the purchase of the book, were donated to D&G Blood Bikes to support the tremendous work that they do.
The cheque was provided at Easterbrook Hall to mark the first anniversary of the D&G through the Lens forum

The Blood Bike team provided a presentation on the work they do across the region ,their range of volunteers  from Bike riders to Control volunteers who provide the emergency  contact information link between Hospital emergency and identifying Riders  to go where they are needed ,to transfer Blood or  other vital   requirements to save life
D&G Blood Bikes are looking for any volunteers that may wish to assist across the region to becoming control volunteers to assist the team ,and will be provided with training
