Healthy Communities volunteers are organising a sponsored walk for families
and pets on Saturday 14th October at 10.30 am (Tails on the Trails ) The event
is supporting the Scottish SPCA Pound for Paws 2017 programme ,which aims to rescue and re-home Scotland`s
abused , abandoned and injured animals
We welcome all our community to come
along for an enjoyable three mile walk with (or without) their pets, starting
from the Torrs Warren Forest, Ringdoo Point, Dunragit (accessible via A75 then railway
crossing at Dunragit) or turn on to the B7084 from the A75 near The County Golf
Club (map ref. NX143 563). Car park is signposted.
County Golf Club at Glen Luce are providing a facility for those interested to purchase and a hot coffee/ Tea afterwards ,and we will have a raffle after the Walk ,with some lovely donation prizes provided by local businesses and members of the public
