Reuse Shop Stranraer - Employment Oppertunities

The Refuse shop  have two employment opportunities to  recruit Staff to join their team,  The posts are  funded  through  Aspiring Communities Fund and European social fund 

Store Supervisor

Up to £9,282.00 plus Pension, 21 hours per week (18 month contract)

An enthusiastic and highly motivated shop supervisor is needed to co-ordinate and develop the Project.  You should have excellent communication skills and be able to engage with the local community in both formal and informal settings.

You should have experience of staff supervision, training, shop floor operations and good financial management.  You will be responsible for volunteers in the shop and the shop floor.  You should have strong people skills and a working knowledge of how to lay out the shop to best effect.

Warehouse Assistant

£8,550.36 plus Pension, 21 hours per week (18 month contract)

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of goods in and out of our warehouse, van and showroom at the centre and will work alongside other staff to assist volunteers to engage in the service.

You should be able to work with minimum supervision and have the ability to deal with members of the public in a friendly and efficient manner and provide a level of support and guidance to volunteers whom you will have a level of responsibility for.
